If we add casino links
Some pages may later link to online casinos where a version of Where’s the Gold can be played. If you open an account and deposit after following one of those links, the casino may pay us a commission. The price you pay and the terms you get are the same whether you arrive through us or not.
These links always pass through an address on our site that starts with /go/ and are marked as sponsored, so search engines don’t count them as our recommendation.
What those casinos are
Be clear about this before you follow any casino link: online casinos are not licensed in Australia. Offering online pokies to Australians is prohibited under the Interactive Gambling Act 2001, and the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) blocks offshore casino sites. Any casino we cover holds a licence in another country, which we quote from its own website. Australian players aren’t penalised under that law, but Australian consumer protections, including BetStop, don’t cover these casinos.
What a commission never changes
A commission never changes our grades or the order we list casinos in. Grades come from checks we can show you: how long a withdrawal took in our own test, whether the casino’s lobby shows the game’s return, the lowest deposit in Australian dollars. The criteria are on how we grade casinos. A casino that pays more doesn’t move up; a casino that fails a check doesn’t get a button, commission or not.
What we don’t take money for
We don’t sell reviews, positions, “featured” badges or links to other gambling sites.
